The practice is part of a group of practices, they are a small animal based, first opinion veterinary hospital accredited by the RCVS in 2016. They strive to keep their gold standard care towards patients and clients, as well as offering top of the range services to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

This is a full-time position working 7 nights followed by 7 nights off (7pm-8am). You must be a hardworking, passionate individual who is keen to develop new skills. You must be able to work as part of a team, as well as alone, provide exceptional medical and surgical care and bring new ideas to the team. CPD is encouraged and funded. Both practices are well equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, dental and in house blood testing equipment. There are good sized theatres and consult rooms for first opinion cases. The practices work very closely with various referral practices to be able to offer that option if needed. The team work closely with each other and comprises of 3 Vets, 5 experienced RVNs, 4 Nursing Assistants and 3 Receptionists. The team all fully support each other and aspire to provide the highest standards in client and animal care. They are now have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, empathetic and skilled full time Veterinary Surgeon. The role is hugely varied consisting of consults and operating on a daily basis. Our client in Lincolnshire require an additional experienced veterinary surgeon to join them on a part or full time basis. They can consider 7 on 7 of, 7 on 14 off or 7 on 21 off, whichever best suits the candidate. They look after their team and work is structured to ensure a good lunch hour and on time finishing, in the event that this doesn’t happen they operate an overtime system. They work with 15 minute consults and book many to 30 mins to give enough time to work up cases and have clinical freedom. Our client would like a confident veterinary surgeon to join them. This role would involve mentoring a newly qualified veterinary surgeon so applicants must be happy with most routine cases both surgical and medical. Orthopaedics are not required as these can can be covered locally, however candidates interested in this area are welcome to apply. Our client will welcome candidates wanting to start certificates, part way through certificates or indeed, completed. They will fund training and will also buy out existing training agreements if they are a barrier to candidates applying for new roles. Our client in North Lincolnshire would like to recruit an additional veterinary surgeon to join their team. The successful candidate will work across 6 different practices, 4 days per week with 1/6 weekends. Ideal candidates will have about 12 months experience and will be comfortably carrying routine neuters and other basic surgeries along with a solid medical knowledge. This is a development role, allowing you to work with the entire, large team of vets, in different environment with a huge array of equipment. There will also be occasions of sole charge, further developing your confidence. Our client have an opportunity for a full time RCVS registered vet to join their busy 7.5-vet companion animal practice in Lincolnshire. The main site is an RCVS Accredited Hospital in a recently renovated, updated and well equipped building, located in rural surroundings just outside a charming village between Grimsby and the market town of Louth in Lincolnshire and near the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB and seaside. Good road links make it accessible and convenient for several international airports and property prices are reasonable and schools are of a high standard. The branch, accredited to RCVS Core Standards, offers consultations and routine operations and the vets are a very experienced and supportive team; group discussion about cases is encouraged. They are supported by an experienced nursing and administrative team in order to provide 24 hour care for all patients. This includes a rota for the nurses to provide on-site cover overnight to care for hospitalised patients and assist the duty vet with emergency calls. The team offer high quality veterinary services for both medical and surgical cases, as well as preventative health clinics. They can offer orthopaedic referral services including hip replacement, laparoscopic services including spays, Cat-Friendly clinics (they have been appointed a Gold Standard Cat-Friendly Clinic), 15 minute consultations, a wonderful large airy waiting room and four bright consulting rooms, a laboratory with new lab machines, separate cat and dog wards and isolation units, 2 sterile operating theatres, a digital xray suite, a separate dental suite with digital dental xray facilities, plus an ultrasound machine, endoscope, laparoscopic equipment, digital Xray and dental digital Xray plus a seperate comfortable staff roomn and staff flat. This is a full time permanent position working 4 days per week with 1 weeknight duty on a shared rota and 1 in 7 weekend duty with day off following the weekend worked. You can expect a competitive salary, in line with experience plus 5 weeks holidays plus Bank Holidays, professional Memberships paid for and CPD and Certificates are encouraged and paid for. Our client is looking for a new experienced small animal vet to join their team near Grantham. The practice is looking for an additional vet as one of their team members is returning home to Europe. The business is also growing and due to this continued success, this is the ideal time to find a new team member. This is a full time role for approximately 40 hours per week, generally working 4.5 days but this can be a four day week if you would prefer. The practice is also open to applications from part time candidates, with shifts and hours to suit the right people. There are no OOH's, Bank Holiday's or full weekends offering an excellent work/life balance. Vets Now provides the out of hours and weekends consist of Saturdays only, on a 1 in 4 basis, with time in lieu in return. You will be joining a 4 vet team. The practice works to 15-minute consultations minimum and extended consults can be catered for, for more complex cases. The diary is organised with plenty of room for appointments, emergency block offs/on the day appointments, breaks, catch ups and time for phone calls. There is also a fairly constant stream of tea and coffee to keep you going. The practice has a range of equipment including dental machine, digital x-rays, and ultrasound. The team is friendly and supportive, and have a wide range of knowledge across the Vets and RVNs. The team pride themselves on discussing cases and sharing opinions, communication is a really important part of the day to day and they encourage openness and teamwork but also the freedom to explore your own cases as you wish. CPD is a generous allowance and encouraged for personal progression and that of the practice. The client two practices are close together but are close to the town centres. Both practices are equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, ECG, as well as all the basic necessities for a first opinion practice. They have a visiting referral orthopaedic Vet, who joins them on a need to basis to perform some surgeries for them. Both practices have a separate dog and cat ward to minimize the stress for our inpatients. They are both equipped with reasonably sized theatres and consult rooms and offer generous reception waiting areas. They have a range of loyal clients, many of which are insured which offers great opportunity to work to a high standard. There are also clients with lower incomes so it is important to be able to adapt to suit, so that they still receive the best care they can give. Overall, the clients provide an interesting and varied caseload. The role is not currently suitable for a new graduate Veterinary Surgeon, as candidates will be required to work independently without support at times.
