Full Time SA Vet in a Hospital environment- Between Glasgow and Edinburgh

Our client is a well-respected tier 3 hospital with close links to Glasgow – 30 minutes and Edinburgh – 1 hour, is looking for a full-time General Practitioner to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking environment. If you are passionate about raising clinical standards and providing an excellent client and patient service and strive for continuous improvement, then you could be the Veterinary Surgeon to fill this position.

This is a full time role for 42 hour per week, with a half day per week. ff per week). As this a hospital environment, therefore there will be one night on-call per week. Weekends will be on a 1:4 rota.

The beautiful light spacious building to work in, located between the cultural and historical cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh. You would be part of a multi-disciplined team including certificate holders, a fully supportive team or RVN’s and other additional support staff.

The ideal candidate will be ambitious, compassionate and excellent communicator. The practice is always keen to hear from individuals who want to contribute to the continuing development of a young Hospital. You must also understand the importance of and encourages teamwork.

Our client are currently looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team at their practice just South of Aberdeen. This is a full-time role for 38 hours per week including Saturday mornings 9am-12.30 pm but there are no out-of-hours. The practice are seeking an experienced candidate to join them, the team is enthusiastic, and dynamic and consists of 5 vets, 6 RVNs, and 5 receptionists. I am working with an independent practice based just a few miles from the centre of Glasgow Established for over 20 years they have 2 fully functioning sites in the area, the most recent being purpose built with dental suite and separate dental Xray, Imaging suite, lab, and dedicated theatres and waiting areas. They have a great team of 4 full time and one part time vet and have a wealth of experience. Work is divided equally between the vets so that all get a good mix of work in each practice with equal surgery/consult days. A full- time role is based on a 4 days week working from 8.30 till 6.30pm, so provides a good level of work life balance with some Saturday mornings on rota depending on your preference, and NO OOH’s. CPD is negotiable with NO limit for the right person, and interests are supported and encouraged.
