Full Time SA Vet for fantastic Hospital environment with certificate holders and a varied caseload

Our client based in Northampton are currently looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team in Northampton.

This is a full-time role, both 4x10 hours and 5x8 hours patterns are available with Saturday shifts on a rota (with time off in lieu). No out of hours shifts or on-call.

This 1st opinion team enjoy working closely alongside the referral veterinary surgeons, who are certificate holders in a variety of small animal disciplines.
You will have clinical independence, utilising the well-equipped internal lab alongside in-house endoscopy and on-site CT (as well digital radiography, doppler ultrasonography, purpose-built dental suite, and mobile MRI service). The referral teams are ready to help; you will rarely have to refer a case externally, and you can follow the investigations that will be happening in the same building.

This really is the perfect environment for learning new skills and achieving advanced qualifications. All of the branches have recently enjoyed full refurbishments to create a truly modern working environment, in-line with other referral hospitals.

The team is made up of 13 Veterinary Surgeons (majority of them are certificate holders), 18 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 4 Student Veterinary Nurses, 4 Kennel Assistants and a Lab Technician.
The ideal candidate will be a MRCVS-qualified veterinary surgeon with a passion for gold standard animal care and providing an exceptional service to a loyal client base. You will be confident consulting, performing first opinion surgical procedures, and providing dedicated inpatient care.

A generous salary dependent upon experience is on offer along with additional benefits (subject to pro rata);

Our client is a small but friendly practice in Northamptonshire is easily accessible from Corby, Thrapston and Kettering who are looking for full time and part time vets There are two roles available, due to growth they would like to recruit a Clinical Director and a vet surgeon. The roles can be full or part time with full time being a 4 days a week with weekends on a 1:3 rota, which is Saturday only, 9am -6pm but there are no out of hours. A part time role would have the weekend requirement but only work 2 days during the week. The ideal candidates will have at least 12 months experience and be comfortable with routine surgeries, bitch speys, lumpectomies, dental etc and consults.
