Our client is an established 3 branch small animal Veterinary group. They have a new large building which provides a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The clinic has parking near by and are also well situated within walking distance of the train station.
They have a large group of vets who all have varied skill sets, as well as a large friendly team of nurses. The team pride themselves on offering an exceptional level of care and they have an amazing team of extremely experienced Veterinary Nurses who are there to assist and help whenever needed. They have a client base that come to them for their personal approach and their ethos of 'we treat every pet as though it's our own'. The supportive team is made up of 7 Veterinary Surgeons, 8 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 6 experienced Receptionists ad administrators.
The successful candidate will be a committed, enthusiastic, and hard-working. You will be a Registered & qualified Veterinary Nurse who is a proactive team player and who will deliver a high standard of veterinary nursing care. Your role as an RVN will include all aspects of first opinion nursing including, but not limited too; monitoring of anaesthetics, Nursing sick animals, administering medication, taking x-rays and carrying out diagnostic tests, nurse clinics, and you will regularly be able to use your schedule 3 skills. Your role will be a varied one and you will work/assist in all areas of the practice. The existing RVN rota consists of working 5 days per week between the hours of 8.30am and 4.30pm or 10.30am – 6.30pm You will be required to work 9 Saturday mornings per year plus 3 weekends on call per year and 1 night in 7 on call. Salary for this role up to 25,000 DOE
