Full Time Registered Veterinary Nurse - near Salisbury

Our client is a modern, purpose-built, rural practice in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside. They have excellent facilities and equipment including digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscope, dental x-ray, class 4 k-laser, multi-parameter monitors and comprehensive in-house lab equipment. They are now looking for a Full Time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team.

They are a progressive, customer-focused companion animal practice with a very loyal client base. The small team includes three vets, four nurses and two support team members. They have a visiting cardiologist an ophthalmologist veterinary specialist and an animal physiotherapist.

You will be responsible for a variety of nursing duties based on a rota system, including nurse consultations, assisting vets in consult, pre-op, theatre areas, caring for medical and surgical patients, lab work, stock ordering and the control and handling of insurance claims. Your shifts will be on a weekly rota, preferably full-time (40 hours over 5 days) but can be flexible for the right candidate. You will be required to work 1:4 Saturdays but there are no on-call duties.

The ideal candidate is an experienced registered veterinary nurse who is dedicated to working to a high clinical standard. You will be confident in all general nursing duties and be able to work as a team.
