Our client is a modern fully equipped RCVS accredited practice based near High Wycombe who are looking for a full time Registered veterinary Nurse to join them.

The group have four practices in the area and have an excellent local reputation working closely with local charities both locally and nationally each year including StreetVet, Marjorie Nash Cat Rescue and Macmillan Cancer Support.

The practice strongly believes in providing the team members with a nurturing and caring environment. They actively encourage and fully support professional ambitions by providing opportunities to develop with regular funded CPD. The excellent care and service that they provide to clients and their pets is very important them. A big part of being able to provide this is through ensuring that the team are fully equipped with all the tools that they need, working in the best possible surroundings.

Across the sites there are 13 vets, 21 Veterinary Nurses including Student Veterinary Nurses, 13 Veterinary Receptionists and 5 fantastic support team members. y have members with special interests in animal behaviour and dog training and of course wellbeing.

The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, enthusiastic, want to use their nursing skills to their full potential and are keen to develop their knowledge and skills. Shifts will also include theatre, inpatient care and occasional reception duties to support. Approximately 40 hours per week with a flexible approach to rota considerations. 1:5 weekend rota and minimal OOH. The successful candidate will require competence and confidence in all areas of nursing in a primary care practice. They would also need to be kind, considerate, positive and happy to use their initiative.

Our client in Buckinghamshire are looking for an Orthopaedic Nurse Practitioner to join their friendly Hospital team in Buckinghamshire. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week working in a state-of-the-art, specialist veterinary referral hospital based near the Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire border. The team offer services in orthopaedics, neurology, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, radiology, and cardiology and offer the most cutting-edge investigations and treatments, with both a 1.5 Tesla MRI and a CT-scanner on site. All disciplines work closely with the in-house professional physiotherapy department. The team are looking for a proactive, enthusiastic, and approachable person who is a great team player but is also able to use their own initiative and self-motivate. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to multi-task with a flexible approach to working are a must. You must be RCVS registered and able to work here in the UK independently, as the team are unable to offer visa sponsorship. Our client in Buckinghamshire are looking for a Ward Veterinary Nurse to join their Hospital team on a full time basis. Salary range 24,000 - 28,000. The hospital is operational 24 hours per day, 365 days a year abd is able to offer the most advanced treatment options available for orthopeadic, neurology, cardiology and soft tissue cases. Facilities include on-site 1.5T MRI and CT scanner suites, a variety if joint replacement systems, electro diagnostics and a full complement of the latest radiography and arthroscopy equipment. Our client is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to deliver the highest standards of patient and client care in High Wycombe. Our client has 4 practices in the High Wycombe are and are looking to recruiting an Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team. This is a flexible part-time role of 26 hours per week including a 1:5 weekend rotation. An example rota could be 3 days Monday – Friday working weekends on a 1:5 basis at two practices within the group. Flexibility can be offered on hours and days for the right candidate to suit your needs. Saturday and Sunday after-hours on call are covered by an external out of hours provider. The out of hours cover is currently very minimal being an evening on call until 9pm Mon – Fri. The practice are organized and have a collaborative approach. Ward rounds are held in the morning, which consists of the clinical team discussing the plan for the day and any hospital inpatients they may have. This is great way of sharing information with the team giving time for professional discussion. The nurses have designated areas to work prior to the day so they are aware of what their responsibilities will be.
