Full Time Registered Veterinary Nurse - Farnham, Surrey

Our client is a busy small animal practice located in the beautiful town of Farnham, who are looking for a full time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a permanent basis.

The practice has a family feel and provides a supportive working environment. They work together as a team to provide a high quality service to clients and patients. The practice has full laboratory facilities, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, laser and a fabulous veterinary team. The team is very experienced and has certificate holders in ophthalmology, small animal medicine and interests in exotic medicine. There are 5 vets and 7 nurses plus a fabulous reception team. They shares ideas and aim to help each other to provide an excellent service.

A typical day involves in patient care, processing laboratory samples, assisting vets, taking blood samples, placing catheters and interacting with clients. The role is 5 days a week, 36 hours, plus 1:4 Saturday mornings (8am-1pm) but no OOH or on-call required.

The ideal candidate will have a few years’ experience but they can consider newly qualified nurses. In addition to your excellent clinical and communication skills, you will need to be a people oriented person, who is willing to support your colleagues.
