Full or Part Time Small Animal Vet with an Imaging bias - near Bridlington

Our client has 4 sites on the East coast. They are now looking for a Full or Part time Small Animal Vet with an interest in Imaging.

The main site and is a busy practice with 2 consulting rooms & one nurse consulting room. The clinic with the vacancy is well established and runs out of a stunning grade II listed, character building. There is superb equipment across the three sites including ultrasound, digital and dental x-ray, dental machine. The in house Lab machines are idexx catalyst and procyte. The caseload includes caring for Small animals, Small furries and wildlife including even the odd seal! The practice is very proud to be working with local charities and rescues.

Over the three sites the team consists of 6 knowledgeable Vets, 7 experienced RVNs, 2 dedicated Nursing assistants as well as a fantastic, friendly client care team. There is an array of experience levels within the team as well as some long serving team members who have been with them for 10, 15 and even 20 years, including more than a few who have left for various reasons and then returned at a later date.

They understand joining a new team can sometimes be a little daunting but you will be made to feel very welcome. They pride themselves on having a friendly welcoming team in and out of work. The team often socialize outside of work and take part in team bonding. The team in their spare time can often be found attending local quizzes, running charity marathons or even trying to crack escape rooms!

The days are split between consulting, surgeries and ECC. They do also have an ambulance service for conducting home visits. Preventative health care and high standards of care at all times are two things that they strongly believe in and they actively encourage professional development.

The ideal would be full time, working 4 days per week, OOH’s including one night every two weeks and one weekend in 3 months, 1 in 3 Saturdays mornings and salary up to 55k DOE plus benefits. The client is also open to part time applications but with our to suit the candidates needs. You will have previous experience with an interest in Imaging, excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. You will demonstrate an interest in sharing your knowledge and support others within the team too. You will be looking to join a team who enjoy discussing cases and work together to provide the best possible care.
