Floor Co-Coordinator Registered Veterinary Nurse - near High Wycombe Up to £30k pa

Our client has a state-of-the-art, specialist Veterinary Referral Hospital based near the Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire border. They are now looking for a Floor Coordinator preferably a Registered Veterinary Nurse but consideration will be given to candidates with transferable skills.

As part of the structured growth, the client is looking for a veterinary nurse who is passionate about clinical organisation and operational excellence. If you enjoy problem-solving and being part of a growing and dynamic team, this is the role for you! The hospital is a state-of-the-art, multidisciplinary specialist veterinary referral hospital. Equipped with all the latest diagnostic and surgical equipment, including onsite MRI & CT.

The main responsibilities of the role include:
• Providing support to the nurse managers in the running of the clinical floor
• Ensuring all patients receive gold standard care, including the provision of nursing care and monitoring anesthetics for all patients as required
• Ensuring protocols are followed correctly in the delivery of nursing care
• Problem-solving to work through potential clashes or shortfalls in resources
• Being the point of contact for the surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing team to ensure the smooth running of clinical caseload
• Supporting the nursing and theatre teams to ensure cases flow through the preparation area efficiently and safely

Your shift pattern will be 40 hours over 4 days per week, with early or late shifts on a weekly rota. You will be required to work 1:6 weekends with time back in lieu. This client ahs a flexible approach and is therefore open to applications from part time candidates.
Ideally you will be a qualified registered veterinary nurse, it is essential for you to have experience working within a fast-paced nursing environment and preferable that you have previously worked in a coordinating or organising role. The starting salary for the role is up to 30,000 p/a depending on experience.
