  An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy, friendly small animal practice in north Manchester. Located within easy reach of both Manchester city centre and open countryside this client has 2 branches. This role is to be based at the main site in Rochdale.
  
  The main practice has a digital xray, ultrasound and in house Idexx blood machines, and a dental x-ray at the branch surgery.
  
  This 5-vet team are split across the 2 branches and all have at least 1 day off a week. The vet team are supported by 7 RVNs and 2 dedicated receptionists and an excellent Practice Manager. They have a certificate holder in Veterinary Radiology who also has an interest in orthopaedics and dentistry plus other vets with interests in cardiology and dermatology.
  
  The ideal candidate will be a confident recent graduate (2years+) who could bring new energy to the team and compliment the experience they currently have. If you have an interest in dentistry then the team can look at altering the rota to allow time at the branch surgery where the dental x-ray machine is based.
  
  
  The role will be a mixture of consultations and operations and the successful applicant must be capable of small amount of sole charge work.
  This is a full time position working 4 days per week 8.30am-6pm with 1:2 Saturday mornings 9am-12noon, alternatively the team are open to a 4.5 working week with 1:3 weekends.
  There are no OOH with this role as Vets Now cover these hours.
  
  The ideal candidate will be a confident recent graduate who is capable of working independently with minimal supervision. There may be occasional times of sole charge.
  You will ideally have skill sets that will complement the existing team and have a willingness to learn new skills and bring new skills to the team.
  
  Salary is between 33,000-37,000 depending on experience.

  Our client based near Accrington in Lancashire are currently looking for a confident recently graduated Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and longstanding team due to an increase in clients on their books.
  
  This client has 3 branches within a short distance of each other and provide the local area with the highest standards of patient and client care. All the vets work out of their normal 'home practice' with occasional shifts at the other sites to cover holidays and other absences when needed.
  
  Currently a fabulous team of 8 Veterinary Surgeons, 7 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 8 Support staff all with a wealth of experience. The team are looking for a friendly, confident and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to deliver the highest standards of patient and client care and keen to join the practice and bring their own ideas.
  The position would suit a vet enthusiastic to work up their own cases with support from their experienced colleagues.
  An area of interest would be beneficial and encouraged, and the certificate pathway could be explored and supported for the right candidate.
  
  The ideal applicant will have previous experience in a small animal practice with a confident approach and keen to offer gold standard care to all clients and bring their up to date knowledge.
  This is a full time role, working 40 hours over 4 days per week with a regular day off. The working hours are 9am - 7pm, Saturdays are on a 1:4 shared rota, with no OOH, and a weekday off in lieu for working the weekend.
  
  On offer for the successful candidate is a salary up to 40,000, dependent upon experience, plus benefits including:

  Our client is part of a group of 16 practices throughout the North West of England. They are now looking for a full or part time Small Animal Vet to join them near Rochdale.
  
  Full time hours are 40 hours per week 9.30am – 6pm and weekends will be 1 in 2 Saturday consults or 1 in 4 at the main hospital with time off in lieu for weekend days worked. You will work closely alongside the receptionist team to deliver first class first opinion care. The branch is a consult only role and therefore you will have the opportunity to consult at the main hospital. The ideal candidate should be happy to work sole charge and be focused on delivering first class health and client care.
  
  The branches feed the surgical case load to the hospital. They provide 24-hour emergency care to clients and other practices in the area. The practice actively encourage further study and have certificate holders in Surgery, Dermatology, Ophthalmology and Internal medicine. The practice has in house CT, endoscopy, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound and multiple Idexx lab machines.
  
  This role could suit either a new graduate or an experienced Vet. There is a good and varied case load at the branch and you have the added advantage of being able to refer more complicated cases to the hospital. An interest in consulting and client care would be advantageous and CPD is actively encouraged. Excellent communication skills are essential and it would be preferable if the ideal candidate was already RCVS registered.
