Our client, located on the beautiful West coast of Scotland are keen to recruit a Vet, with first opinion practice experience, to join their lovely practice.

Located within easy reach of the urban entertainments of Glasgow City yet set along the stunning coastline for long walks this location really does have something for everyone.

The successful candidate will become part of a great team and help to drive the business forwards across the clients small and friendly group of RCVS accredited clinics. This is a full-time position, with roughly 40 hours per week (8.30am-6.30pm) and no more than 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (8.30am-12noon).
There is no other weekend or any out of hours work required as VetsNow covers out OOH requirements.

There is currently a team of 6 vets and 4 RVNs so you would be joining a great supportive team, working in superb facilities including Ultrasound and digital X-ray.

Salary and package are dependent on experience but the client can offer up to 50k for the right candidate, along with a generous CPD funding, HealthShield plan, company pension and a cycle to work scheme.

Our client is a large, friendly, long-established practice, close to the beautiful Ayrshire coast with convenient road and rail links to Glasgow (30 minutes’ drive) and central Scotland. They are now looking for a Full Time Small Animal Vet to join the team. They have 3 practices in the local area with dedicated teams providing small animal, equine and farm veterinary services. The area provides an excellent base for those enjoying outdoor pursuits including equine sports, water sports, cycling, hill-walking and golf. The practice has all the usual gadgets - digital and dental radiography, multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring machine, ultrasonography (inc. Doppler), endoscopy, ECG. Additionally, they run a comprehensive in-house laboratory (microscopy, haematology, biochemistry as well as Idexx Catalyst for in-house cortisol, CRP, fructosamine, progesterone.), and a daily dedicated lab nurse to facilitate the above. There is a team of 15 full and part time vets, including Cardiology and Ophthalmology certificate holders as well as plenty of proud general practitioners. The clinic is a Vets Now host practice, so inpatients can remain on site without worrying about the pragmatics of transferring unstable cases. The role is flexible and could be moulded to suit your interests, whether they lie in the consulting room, operating theatre, or in 'hospital' inpatient care (or a mix of all). Niche interests can be supported and encouraged. Working 40 hour per week (full time) part time can also be considered with hours to suit the candidates needs. Working 4.5 days per week, 1:2 Saturday mornings (8:30am-1pm) and no OOH. You must be RCVS registered, confident in sole charge and ideally have some post qualification experience with the ability to perform routine consults and surgeries (including neuters and dentals) unassisted. Our client has three sites on the Southwest Coast of Scotland, all sites have been recently modernised offering a great working environment and high standard of patient care. They are now looking for a Full or Part Time Small Animal Vet to join them. Their locations offers the best of both worlds with beautiful countryside to explore but they are also only 45 minutes from the city of Glasgow. There is a team of 9 vets, a supportive and hands on nursing team of 10 and a reception team of 8. There is a surgical certificate holder, one medicine certificate holder and one vet completing a GP with feline medicine certificate. They also have nurses who hold feline nursing certificates and nurses who are currently completing nutrition and surgical certificates. You will be working on a variety of caseloads including Orthopaedics, soft tissue and all your usual routine ops splitting your time between theatre and consultations. There is scope for building your own caseloads based on your interests. As well as the opportunity to be a VetGDP advisor and clinical coach for the graduate vets in practice helping to mentor the next generation of vets. The client is open to applications form full or part time vets, full time will be 4 days per week full time (part time hours negotiable). Weekend rota is 1.5:7 full weekend but no out of hours. There is 1-2 hours of admin time per day. Must be RCVS registered and qualified, it is essential that you are a confident in sole charge and have good communication skills. Our client based near Kilmarnock is looking for a Full or Part Time Small Animal Vet to join them. The client has 3 branches the local area and well respected by their clients in the local area. re is a team of 7 vets, 7-nurse, 2 ACAs plus reception/ support staff. Ayrshire has great beaches and lovely countryside with excellent access to the facilities of Glasgow or the outdoor pursuits of Arran. The team is now looking for a vet surgeon on a full time or part time basis to join their friendly, established and experienced team. Working within a first- opinion GP role with mix of medical and surgical cases and time to work-up your own caseload. This is a full-time position for 42 hours per week (Full Time) over a 4 day per week and every other Saturday morning. No OOH – this is covered by Vets Now and no Sundays. The client ahs a flexible approach can therefore consider applications from part time candidates with hours to suit your needs. You must be RCVS registered and qualified ideally an experienced small animal vet although support can be given for the right candidate.
