Our client in Lincolnshire would like an experienced veterinary surgeon to join their team. The practice is a Tier 3 hospital. The ideal candidate will have a medical bias because they are currently developing a second surgical certificate holder.

The practice is very well equipped with:
  • Digital X-ray and dental X-ray
  • Diagnostic ultrasound
  • Video endoscope
  • ECG
  • State of the art dental facilities
  • climate controlled patient accommodation
  • 24 hour on site staffing
  • Full lab facilities
Our client also offer referrals in orthopaedics and minimally invasive surgery. Candidates able to offer the same with medical conditions would be welcomed.

Due to the size of the team, the in house OOH's are light. All vets have to be comfortable working on a night rota.

Our clients are a well established and busy practice on the South Yorkshire, Lincolnshire border, easily accessible from Doncaster and Lincoln area, with 2 branches. Keen to recruit a new small animal vet to help with the busy first opinion caseload. Ideally they would like an experienced vet who can deal with the everyday routine of general practice, but they also interested in hearing from a recently graduated vet who is maybe looking to move on from their first role, from 12 months upwards, their experienced team will be able to give support and mentoring. The 10 vet team have a wealth of experience and include certificate holders. Facilities include ultrasound, ECG, endoscopes and orthopedic kit. This is a permanent full time role over a 4 day week,with Saturdays on a rota of 2:5 (inpatient care required if needed), but no OOHs. CPD is actively encouraged and a generous package can be offered for the right candidate. Our client in North Lincolnshire have a vacancy or a surgical certificate holder to join their team in this 24/7 Tier 3 hospital. The successful candidate will be required to carry out large amount of surgery, both orthopaedic and soft tissues and will ideally hold a certificate. Candidates close to completing a certificate are also welcome to apply. Whilst the practice operate 24/7 they do have their own dedicated night team so there are no OOH's with this role. Weekends are worked on a 1 in 6 basis and the working week is 39 hours over 4 days. There is a large team of 6 vets and 6 nurses. LIVE COVID VACANCY Our North Lincolnshire client have a vacancy for a lead vet in their 5 vet team. The successful candidate will have more than 3 years experience and likely be looking to, or have already started a certificate. They will also be wanting to ensure cases are worked up to a very high standard. They will also want to help drive this very successful, busy practice forward. Ensuring that the vet and nurse team are constantly striving to to give great service and constantly looking to develop themselves. Whilst our client operate a 24 hout service, there are no OOH's with this role and the rota is based around a 4 day week with a light weekend rota.
LIVE COVID VACANCY Our client require an addition veterinary surgeon to join their night team. The successful candidate will work a WLB friendly 7 nights on followed by 7 nights off. Ideally, candidates will be experienced in working in an emergency environment, but not essential. Confidence in surgical abilities and the ability to work in a fast paced paced environment where no night is the same is essential. The practice is very well equipped with digital X-Ray, ultrasound, laparoscopic equipment, dental suite, double surgical theatre, full inhouse labs. For candidates looking to start or complete an ECC certificate, this will be welcomed and funded. An exceptional package upto 65k is available for the right candidate.

The team have veterinary surgeons with certificates in soft tissue, orthopaedics and internal medicine. The hospital also has a range of experience in small furries. The practice has are are extremely proud of what has been accomplished over the 6 years of being open and are pleased to say they have a great team of friendly, helpful, passionate, caring, talented people made up of 14 Veterinary Surgeons, 12 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 6 Student Veterinary Nurses, 5 Animal Nursing Assistants and 11 Receptionists. Our client in this beautiful Lincolnshire village require a vet with around 12 months experience, so comfortable with routine small animal surgeries and medical cases. Much if the work will be initially sole chare, hence the far higher than average salary offered. The successful candidate will have lots of access to more senior and experienced vets whenever they require it. The rota is focussed towards work life balance, working 4 days per week with 1 in 3 weekends. This is a new practice so equipped to a very high standard.
