Experienced Small Animal Vet for well-established practice in Kent

This Kent based client are looking for an experienced small animal veterinary surgeon to join their large multivet team.

This well established, busy first opinion general practice have all the equipment you would expect from a purpose-built clinic; X-ray, Ultrasound ,Endoscopy, ECG, Laboratory and surgical facilities. They have a strong team of nursing, reception and clerical staff providing round the clock support. This is also a RCVS Tier 2 training practice.

The position is for a full time, permanent, small animal vet to work 40 hours per week. Weekends will be on a 1:4 rota, Saturday only 8am-4pm with the following Friday off and no OOH's. You will be joining a team of 2 x Managing Partners, who are both vets, 3 x additional vets and 7 RVNs. You will be based at at the main site for 80% of the time and then 20% at one of the main branches, and so you must be able to drive.

All levels of experience will be considered however this is a busy practice and you will need to be confident, and able to learn quickly. Support and mentorship can be given to candidates with limited experience but ideally you will be able to perform surgery such as all types of neuters and basic surgery with no or very little support.
You will need to be able to drive/have transport for this position as there are local branches, all within 10 miles of each other. There will be some sole charge but there are always Clinical Directors/Partners on duty as back up.

Salary based on experience, CPD = 5 days plus 1000. 28 days holiday plus BH. This practice would also like to encourage the following to apply: vets planning on pursuing a certificate/certificate holders and vets with special interests.
