Experienced SA Vet for Independent Practice 20 minutes by train to Central London

This well established independent client who is just 20 minutes by train to Central London, is looking for an experienced 2020 graduate to join their team

This practice has been part of the community for over 20 years and has full hospitalisation and surgical facilities on-site.

The ideal candidate will have gained some experience but may have not have had the development that they had hoped. The client has previous experience of taking on new graduates and has developed and supported them to be confident and valued team members. You must have excellent communication skills and been keen to learn and develop as the 3rd vet in the practice.

This is a full time position working 4.5 days per week and with Saturdays on a 1:3 rota (8:30am-12noon). There are no OOH with this role.

There is a fantastic package is on offer and salary is dependent on experience.

This wonderfully independent practice with 2 clinics in North London are looking for an experienced small animal vet to join them on a permanent basis. Currently the owner and Veterinary surgeon, with over 30 years experience, is working on his own and is looking to grow the practice to 3 vets over the coming months - they certainly have the caseload and workload to keep 3 vets busy. The team has a great, experienced and supportive team of nurses and receptionists - the Head Nurse has a certificate in Exotics and has been described as the best nurse a practice could ask for. This is very much a close knit team who like to dicsuss cases together and who are all happy to lend a hand when the going gets tough. The role itself is to be split over the 2 sites, approx 2.5 miles apart, and will involve consults in the morning at one clinic and surgery in the afternoon in the second clinic where they have in house ultrasound, x-ray, dental xray and an in house lab. The team can work up cases to a high level in house and offer the best care to their patients and clients. OOH is covered by a local practice. The team can be flexible on either a 4 or 5 day week, but must include 1:3 Saturdays (9-11am / 12-2pm at each clinic). Salary is dependent upon experience. Our client operate a very well established Tier 3 hospital. They are currently looking for a an experienced veterinary surgeon to join them. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience. They will be comfortable with routine soft tissue surgery and medical cases. They will also be looking for a role which will allow them to develop their clinical skills to the next level. This is a large team with 3 other day vets and 7 nurses. There is very little sole charge and the rota is based on a 4 day week with 1/6 weekends. Our client is happy to pay up to 60k for candidates with the right level of experience.
Our client in the Dartford area have a vacancy for vet with 6-12 months (or more) experience to join them in a mobile capacity. There will be very little sole charge as all three practices are multi vet. This role will give the successful candidate holder access to multiple, experienced vets to help them develop their skills to the next level. There are opportunities to start a fully funded certificate in any small animal discipline. All practices are well equipped offering a great service to their patients and clients, digital x-ray, ultrasound etc etc. As well as a 4 day week, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays, so great work/Life balance, this role offers a salary, up to 42k plus CPD, Professional fees and 5 weeks holiday.
Our client in North London seek an additional veterinary surgeon to join their team. The existing vets hold certificates in Surgery and Imagining as well as interests in medicine. The practice is very well equipped with equipment levels that include: Digital X-ray Ultrasound Dental X-ray Inhouse lab Whilst there is very little sole charge, the practice is busy so interested candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience and be happy with routine medical and surgical cases. Certificates will be supported and funded. The practice is close to its large, sister hospital where cases can be referred and followed up. The rota is based around a 4 day week with 1:6 weekends.
