Steph Ward
Our Independent client near the vibrant city of Brighton are looking for two registered veterinary nurses to join their small animal hospital. They are proud of their excellent reputation, which is down to their fantastic and welcoming staff.

One of the roles, for maternity-cover, is for an all-rounder nurse who loves the variety of veterinary nursing and enjoys being involved in all aspects of patient care.
The 2nd vacancy is for a surgically-biased nurse to be one of our key theatre nurses and help maintain and improve our high clinical standards for surgical patients.

The team understand some of the best RVNs need flexible working arrangements so we will consider applicants looking for both full-time and part-time roles. The right candidate will be friendly, motivated and keen to work as part of a fairly large team.
Ideally you will be a nurse with some post-graduation experience, however, the team would consider more recently-qualified nurses too, especially if you have had experience in a hospital environment during training.

This is s First Opinion Hospital site who have their own dedicated ECC Night Team and Referral Team. They have a wide range of equipment, including CT and Endoscopy.

You can expect a competitive salary based on experience and further qualifications.
Working a 37.5 hour week inclusive of a weekend rota shared fairly among the whole team: one full weekend and two half weekends in 14 with time-off in lieu.
There is also a requirement to work some Bank Holidays (including Christmas/Boxing Day/New Years Day) on a rota that is shared fairly by the team.
Generous annual CPD allowance with extra funding considered for more advanced studies such as certificates.
VDS and RCVS fees paid

The team value a high standard of patient and client care, are forward-thinking and actively encourage and support all RVNs to pursue their passions and interests – they have nurses with advanced qualifications in all sorts of disciplines including anaesthesia, surgery, ECC and feline medicine. This is a nurse training practice and encourage all RVNs to consider becoming clinical coaches if they would like to.
