Experienced RVN for Brand New Hospital Site in Surrey

Our client in Surrey are looking for an experienced RVN to join their team at their BRAND NEW Hospital.

This custom-built, state-of-the-art veterinary facility offers a range of services and the very best possible care. The team accept complex cases and look after patient's requiring a longer stay and a more detailed level of care. Th e teams main aim is to provide the very best level of care possible to their clients and patients alike.

They are looking for a like minded person to join them as an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse working a 4 day week with 1 in 4 Saturdays 8am-4pm. You will be joining a team of 6 RVNs, 3 ANA's and 6 Vets.

You will be entitled to 5.6 weeks holiday, including Bank Holidays.
Salary will be based on experience with CPD and Healthshield included as standard.

Our client is an experience practice owner with many years of success behind them. After selling their old practice to a corporate group, they are now in the process of setting up a new 100% independent small animal clinic near Guildford. There is already a very experienced Vet, Practice Manager and Head Registered Veterinary in place and the team are now looking for two additional RVN£s to join them. The most important thing to the client, is that they get the right people in place and have a strong team who will nurture the new clients and build strong bonds from day one. The client has a very flexible approach when looking for new team members and with this in mind is open to full or part time applications. Full time hours are 40 hours per week with weekends on a 1:4 rota. Although the practice will offer its own out of hours service this is covered by a separate team, giving the best service to client and their animals, whilst allowing a good work/life balance to team members. The client will not be beaten on salary but this will depend on your experience and what you can bring to the role. Our client is a busy small animal practice located in the beautiful town of Farnham, who are looking for a full time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a permanent basis. The practice has a family feel and provides a supportive working environment. They work together as a team to provide a high quality service to clients and patients. The practice has full laboratory facilities, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, laser and a fabulous veterinary team. The team is very experienced and has certificate holders in ophthalmology, small animal medicine and interests in exotic medicine. There are 5 vets and 7 nurses plus a fabulous reception team. They shares ideas and aim to help each other to provide an excellent service. A typical day involves in patient care, processing laboratory samples, assisting vets, taking blood samples, placing catheters and interacting with clients. The role is 5 days a week, 36 hours, plus 1:4 Saturday mornings (8am-1pm) but no OOH or on-call required. The ideal candidate will have a few years’ experience but they can consider newly qualified nurses. In addition to your excellent clinical and communication skills, you will need to be a people oriented person, who is willing to support your colleagues. Our client has a well-established Small Animal practice near Slough who are looking for a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them. The practice has a reputation for providing the highest level of service and value for all clients. They are also continually updating and growing their range of equipment. The 7 Veterinary Surgeons are supported by a great team of 12 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses and experienced Receptionists across the Group. The mental and physical well-being of the team is paramount to the owner - they like to show our support both in-house and externally by taking part in charity events such as "Ride for Dementia" and "Relay for Life" in aid of cancer research. They now have an exciting opportunity for a Head Veterinary Nurse to join them on a full time, permanent basis. The working week will reflect as a 5 day per week plus a 1:4 weekend rota, with no OOH. As the Head nurse you will be responsible for a team of, 1 receptionist, 2 Veterinary Nurses and 1 Student Veterinary Nurse. You will also be responsible for supporting the smooth day to day running of the practice. You must be a forward-thinking confident team player who has great leadership and organisation skills. You will be able to use your own initiative and be happy to delegate where required, but also muck in with the team. You also need to be able to make decisions effectively and manage staff appropriately, bringing out the best in them and drive the practice forward with respect to the nursing team. Previous experience in a Head nurse role and a Clinical Coach would be beneficial, but not essential. Salary is up to 33,000 per annum depending on experience, however, we are willing to negotiate outside of this for the right candidate. Our client based in Surrey are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a full time role, working Monday - Friday, with absolutely no weekends or OOH's. The team have 2 sites, approx 5 miles apart, and are looking for an enthusiastic Nurse to join the team at their practice near Chertsey. You will be joining a small team of experienced nurses, including the Head Nurse with 5 years experience.
