This busy practice has an ever growing caseload which includes both General practice and orthopedic, soft tissue surgery as well as Ophthalmology.
Working alongside an advanced practitioner you would have a great amount of access to knowledge and development in these areas in particular, and this would suit an applicant who is keen and eager to keep improving thier skills, no matter what level they are at.
With this in mind they would look at both experienced and new graduate candidates.
Full or part time applications welcome. Full time is 40 hours with 1:3 saturday mornings NO OOH's

This new client are an independent, family owned, small animal veterinary practice based in the West Midlands. They have 2 very well respected modern veterinary practices within 5 miles of each other and are both known for their high standard of patient and client care. The practices are both equipped to a high level with excellent diagnostic facilities including ultrasound, digital x-rays, full in-house lab, endoscopy and more. They have 3 theatres, 3 consultation rooms and individual cat, dog and isolation areas with a dedicated orthopaedic theatre at one of their branches. The team pride themselves on their spacious, staff friendly practices which were built with veterinary staff and patient care in mind. The large team comes from a variety of backgrounds; some members being newly graduated all the way up to 20+ years of experience. They welcome members from all walks of life and their multinational team allows for great ideas and planning when it comes to patient care. # Currently a team of 8 Veterinary Surgeons, 7 RVN’s, 4 SVN’s, 4 Receptionists and 2 ACA’s across both practices. This is a strong solid team and hiring is due to expansion only. The staff members aren’t just numbers and everyone’s voice matters. They can offer a flexible schedule based on individual needs, some of their staff work 3 days, whilst others work 5, some can’t work weekends and others enjoy weekends. Due to being an independent practice, they can offer flexibility. This role is for a new or recent graduate and will see you carrying out consultations, routine surgery’s and diagnostics etc. The team have a mixed client base across the 2 branches; one being canine only, heavily surgery focused (Neutering, C-section, BOAS, Entropion, Ex-Laps etc) and Hthe other being a more ‘general practice’, seeing dogs, cats, rodents, rabbits and birds. Current staff enjoy the balance of the two branch practices, based just 5 miles apart. They also offer their own OOH care which they have a dedicated night team. Our client in Staffordshire in the West Midlands has a vacancy for a Confident New graduate. This is a lovely practice and team, with 4 other vets the successful candidate will work alongside as well as a great team of nurses and management team, who have supported many new graduates through their first years in practice and have a great track record with support and mentorship. Ideally you will be have a good level of confidence with some experience in routine neuters, medical management etc. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside a certificate holder in surgery and Ophthalmology and will work with a varied caseload including a good amount of orthopedics too. With other interests in the practice too including feline medicine, this environment provides a great diverse learning opportunity and should you desire to study something of your own, you will find support both through funding and time. The rota can be flexible, with 1:3 Saturdays (once you are happy to work in sole charge) but will not include Sundays or OOH's. Sponsorship is no problem and can also be considered, as can help with relocation and a good level good salary too The practice is 1 mile form the train station which then has a direct line into Birmingham station.
