This is a fantastic opportunity for a vet with experience, most likely 2 years or more to take their first step towards a career in management/Senior Vet/Clinical Director. As Lead Vet in this small branch practice, the successful candidate will be responsible, not only for the clinical standards, but also; team management, customer delivery and an element of administration.

The practice is currently a single vet, well equipped recently refurbished practice. There is scope for the practice to grow in size and it is expected that an additional vet will be recruited in the near future.

Practice equipment includes, digital x-ray, ultrasound, large prep area, separate dog and cat spaces. The branch is also equipped to suit candidates with interests in ophthalmology, dermatology, medicine and surgery.

As parts of the role will be new to most candidates, our client will be offering support in areas that are unfamiliar, such as management, finance, HR and so on. They also have multiple experienced vets at their sister practice who can support and develop clinical areas.

Our client are happy to support and fund certificates in any small animal discipline. They can also look to fund existing training agreements that may be preventing candidates from changing roles.

The rota for this role is based around a 4 day, 1 in 6 weekends with a couple of weeks per year as second on call.
