Enthusiastic small animal vet, development potential

Beautiful standalone practice, with excellent facilities based in the cathedral city of Ely, close to Cambridge and Thetford. They have an established team of vets ands support staff and are looking for a third vet to join them.
With a varied caseload including orthopedics and physio, they also benefit from visiting specialists, to ensure that they can offer a full range of care for their clients in house. Specialist skills include imaging, cardiology and orthopedics, and are also able to offer laparoscopic procedures and endoscopic investigations too.
They are looking for someone who has some basic skills and is comfortable with a little sole charge on a weekend. However they are fully able to offer the support needed to develop the skills of a recently graduated vet so long as they are dedicated to learn and have a great bedside manner.
the role is a 40 hour weeks with 1:3 weekends and OOH's of 1 night a week and 1:6 weekends

Our client is a successful out of hours provider who is looking for a New Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them. This is a full time role for 4 nights per week, every other week. The role is varied as every shift is different depending on the patients in the hospital. Cleints include Cats, Dogs and most exotic species. The night nurse is responsible for patient care with a Vet available on call, if required. Part of the role will also include preparing the practice in readiness for the following day for example, in-patient sheets, stocking up, destocking hospital supplies, deep cleaning etc. On a quiet night there will also be administrative tasks to complete. 4 Nights, every 2 weeks Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday / Friday 9:00pm-8:30am) Salary package of 18,000 for the 4 nights. (Day shifts can also be added in addition) Salary review after the first 6 months. Our client are looking for a forward thinking, dynamic and motivated Clinical Director or Head Vet to join the team in this exciting role with the shared aim of driving the Hospital forward in its journey. A complete refurbishment of the hospital is planned, providing the team, patients and clients with a fully equipped, modern hospital environment. Our client based in Cambridgeshire are looking for experienced SA Vets to join their well-established Primary Care Veterinary Team. This busy local practice has been caring for pets for over 100 years. With excellent facilities at their Tier-3 hospital in Huntingdon, 5 branch surgeries and their very own dedicated OOH service. They have a fantastic, friendly and experienced clinical team with many certificate holders who are committed to the care of their loyal clients and their pets. The ideal candidate will be an experienced small animal vet who is confident, talented and friendly. You will be based mainly at the hospital site but there may be some branch work at weekends. The team operate around the clock and have the benefit of a dedicated night team and so this role does not have any OOH's, however there would be a requirement to work one late night every few weeks. The team work various shifts between 8am-6pm with 1:3 Saturday mornings. This clinic has the benefit of certificate holders in both medicine and surgery, and the practice carries out it's own orthopedics, they also have a visiting Dermatologist for referrals. CPD is very much encouraged, certificates are supported, and there is a good level of salary available for the right candidate.
