Exciting new opportunity for an both an experienced internal Medicine and imaging specialist to join a progressive Tier 3 hospital based close to Leeds in West Yorkshire. This practice deal with a mix of caseload from the routine cases from their 5 branches, and also take referrals which include surgery, Cardiology, oncology, dermatology, ophthalmology and imaging, carried out by a team of certificate and diploma holders. You will either possess or be studying a further qualification in internal medicine or imaging, and be happy to work in ll aspect of practice when required
The facilities in the hospital are excellent, with CT scanner, various flexible and rigid scopes, ultrasound and access to an MRI twice a month.
This is a full-time role for 47 hours per week Monday to Friday with weekends on a 1:4 rota. This is a 24 hour hospital but there are no out of hours with this position as the hospital have a dedicated night team. You will be joining a team of over 20 vets who have varying interests and hold a variety of certificates. Due to the nature and size of the business you will gain broad exposure to a varied caseload within a friendly and supportive team.
In return the client offers a competitive salary, generous CPD allowance with 4 days per year to attend events, 33 days holiday and an additional day off for your birthday and a noncontractual bonus scheme. addition to your salary vets receive a top up payment for each weekend worked and two days off in Lieu the following week.
