My Client are a small and friendly team, with a well-equipped practice set in the heart of the city of Leicester. They have a mixed caseload and have facilities such as ultrasound and orthopedic kit and would love someone who shares the passionate and enthusiastic demeanor of the current team. They have a great attitude towards work life balance and share the early/late shifts and always get a paid lunch and try to finish on time. They exercise collaborative working and hold clinical meetings to discuss cases, they are also working to the practice standards scheme

They are able to give a level of support and mentorship for someone who is confident with the basics, so applications from someone with 6 months experience in practice upwards would be welcomed.

Our client have an opening for a vet with a minimum of 12 months experience to join them. Candidates much be happy with some routine surgeries, ideally, healthy young bitch spays as well as handling their own medical cases. Practice interests include: cardiology Orthopaedics General surgery Feline medicine. The practice is very well equipped as you would expect. They have a brand new digital x-ray and ultrasound, dental x-ray, ECG, full labs, endoscopes. The successful candidate can choose to work over 4 or 5 days id working a 40 hour full time week. They will also only do 1 in 5 weekends and when they do, they receive the time back in lieu. There are no OOH's duties. Their package includes: Generous salary up to £48k 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. CPD budget to include certificate funding RCVS and VDS fees paid. and, much more. Due to expansion this client is doubling one of its sites to create a brand-new clinic, opening later this year/early next year and as such the team are looking for a proactive small animal vet who is an enthusiastic team player and keen to learn and develop themselves as well as the practice. You will be working with a hugely experienced team who can offer a wealth of expertise, plus visiting veterinarians to assist with both case management and team development. The vet team are suported by a truly wonderful nursing team that are focused on animal care and a reception team that works hard on providing the best client journey. The practice has all the usual toys, digital x-ray including dental x-ray, ultrasound including cardiology package, endoscopy, in house biochemistry, haematology, and cytology. For the right candidate, the team are happy to disucss the flexibility of working hours to accommodate individual circumstances, this position could be filled by several part time personnel or a full-time role (40 hour working week). Mixed work can also be provided for the right candidate. The team can also offer enrolment on the new graduate development scheme, which will give the successful candidate additional CPD, a chance to get together with other new graduates to discuss the highs and lows of your first job, all whilst continuing your learning journey. Our client is based in Leicestershire and currently have a large referral caseload in both soft tissue and orthopaedic cases. They are currently seeking an additional certificate holder / referral vet to join their team. As well as managing internal and external referral;l cases, this role will also involve developing junior, up and coming orthopaedic veterinary surgeons. In addition there are also opportunities to host external CPD courses. As a referral hospital, this practice is very well equipped to deliver this service. Due to relocation, they are looking for a confident vet to join their leadership team and run the small animal sector of this large mixed business. As clinical director, you will have overarching responsibility for the small animal business; you will work alongside the two farm clinical directors to lead the whole group, and be fundamental in setting strategy and maintaining excellent clinical standards across the sites. Day-to-day responsibilities include line managing a team of vets across three sites; ensuring the financial viability of the business through managing services, purchasing, and creating new business opportunities; and working with your Business Development Director to engage with the wider VetPartners business. This role will allow the successful candidate to work autonomously to ensure the continued success of this wonderful practice whilst offering support, mentorship, and training to develop clinical and leadership skills. You will be supported by the large animal clinical directors, the Practice Manager, your Business Development Director, and a support office team who are experts within their fields. Whilst some leadership experience would be beneficial, it is not essential as the team are keen to find the right person for the role and full training and support will be given. The successful candidate must be a confident vet who can make clinical decisions, support junior members of the team, and appraise clinical provision. You will be a compassionate leader who sees their success as that of their team; the ability to communicate well with people and clients is essential, as is the ability to prioritise and delegate where required. This is a flexible role as this client understands that life does not always fit into Monday-Friday. Therefore they are happy to consider any working pattern or hours. Our friendly client in Leicestershire have a vacancy for an additional veterinary surgeon to join their existing 2 vet team, which includes the practice owner. "Standard" hours are full time, which is worked over 4 full days with 1 in 3 Saturdays. However, our client can be super flexible, so if there is another working pattern that would be better for you, they would be more than happy to discuss that with you.
