Our client is a friendly, patient focused small animal practice in Buckinghamshire, who are seeking a progressive, motivated and enthusiastic new member to join their expanding team.
The practice has a supportive team with a range of abilities – from recent graduates to our two Advanced Practitioners in small animal medicine. The ideal candidate would have a client-orientated approach, excellent communications skills and the ability to work to a high medical and surgical standard. A sense of humour and team spirit is also mandatory!
The practice is well equipped with static and dental digital x-ray, a range of fibre-optic endoscopes, portable ultrasound, tonometry, multi-parameter monitoring equipment, an in-house laboratory including coagulation profile and blood typing, and are supported by routinely visiting specialists in cardiology and ultrasonography. The main surgery is in High Wycombe, but there are branch practices nearby so you must have a flexible working approach and be able to drive.
The rota includes a 4 day week, with 22 Saturday mornings. OOH cover is provided on site at the main hospital by Vets Now, allowing the team to give our patients the best of clinical care whilst also supporting a good work-life balance for the staff. CPD is well funded and encouraged, and progression to certificate level would be fully supported.
