Our client is a well-established busy practice in South London, with good transport links to the capital, who is looking for a full time RVN work asap for the next 6 weeks. This could be extended or be a permanent role if things work for both parties
They are a busy practice with a diverse case load and a 100% small animal focus based in South London close to good transport links. They have grown by looking after their current clients, their pets and supporting their colleagues. The practice is an RVN training practice with 4 highly experienced vets, 3 RVNs and support staff. The vacancy has arisen due to an internal promotion. The surgery houses all the usual equipment, digital x-ray (including dental), ultrasound, in house blood machines, multi parameter monitoring equipment, and more.
The team is led by the Clinical Director with three other vets and 3 RVN roles. The support staff include a VCA, auxiliary and student nurses and a receptionist. Two of our vets are currently studying Post Graduate Certificates in Surgery and Internal Medicine. The practice is very well known in the local community having been a part of the community for the past 21 years.
They are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the passionate team. This is a permanent full time (40 hours per week) position. Shifts are either 8.30 to 16.00 or 11.30 to 19.00 Monday to Friday with 1 in 2 Saturday mornings (8.45am to 12.45) and no OOH. (this can be negotiable)
The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running in our practice and develop their career further. Ideally you will have some experience but they are also able to accept applications from confident newly qualified nurses. The ideal candidate will be client focused with good people and pet skills. You will be happy to assist the vets with their workloads and take part in nurse clinics.

Our client is looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and passionate team.
The practice is ISFM Gold accredited Hospital is based near Sidcup but within the London Borough of Bexley offering 24/7 care to their loyal clients. There is a large enthusiastic and friendly team including a dedicated Veterinary Care Assistant team, night’s team, client care team, insurance team, bookings team and lab team.
There is a huge variety of equipment including and offer a variety of specialist disciplines including ultrasound, radiography, MRI, orthopaedic surgery, laparoscopic surgery, ophthalmology, internal medicine and exotics.
The position will include inpatient and outpatient care clinics, pharmacy cover, anaesthetics, minimal lab work and theatre nursing. The rota is rolling so will include different roles and responsibilities each week. The ideal candidate must be qualified and registered on the RCVS register, have experience with working in a busy practice, be enthusiastic and passionate about their role in the hospital and provide gold standard patient care. Our client runs a busy, supportive small animal practice with an interesting, varied caseload in the Kingston Upon Thames area of London. They are now looking for a Full Time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them.
The practice equipment enables high general practice standard and includes cardiac and abdominal ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental x-ray (digital), full surgical kit and extensive lab equipment. The practice is centrally located and allows easy access to central London by train in 25 mins and is close to Richmond Park, Wimbledon Common and the A3 so plenty on the doorstep to enjoy outside work.
The team is caring, open and supportive whilst upholding high standards of general practice. There are 6 vets, 8 nurses and many receptionists (nurses do not cover reception duties).
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, organised and friendly candidate who is a good fit for the current lovely team. role will include anaesthetic monitoring, care of inpatients, nurse consultations, drug dispensing, lab work, maintaining a sterile work environment (there are helpers employed to clean). Any special interests are happily supported.
The rota is a 40 hour week through a rotation of shifts (for example ops 8am-2pm week 1, consults 10am-6pm week 2, lates 1pm-8pm week 3 etc). Weekends are 1:5 (8am-2pm Saturday, 9am-10am Sunday and care of inpatients). There are no OOH. A supportive team player with a high standard of patient care, you will also have a client focused approach.
