Assistant Veterinary Surgeon, F/T Hampshire

My client based in the suburbs of Southampton are looking for an enthusiastic, professional individual to join their vibrant small animal team as an Assistant Veterinary Surgeon.

The practice is bright, spacious, air-conditioned and purpose built to industry leading standards. It has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound and in-house laboratory facilities. In addition to onsite parking they have great transport links, being close to the M27 and M3, and within commutable distance of Southampton, Winchester and Portsmouth.

The successful candidate will join the Practice Partner and Veterinary Surgeon, and a team of 4 Vets, 6 Nurses and 4 Receptionists; all of whom share a passion for patient wellbeing, preventative care and customer care.

Applicants should have good general surgical and medical skills and have a great customer focus. You will work a 45 hour week with weekends on a 1 in 4 rotation. There is no OOH or sole charge with this role.

You must have enthusiasm and take pride in your work. Communication skills are extremely important and the successful candidate will enjoy building relationships with patients, clients and the wider team!
