Our client in the port city of Portsmouth are looking to recruit a permanent small animal vet to join their team of 4 vets, 5 RVN's, 2 degree students and 3 receptionists.
This role would suit someone with at least 2 years experience in small animal general practice as sole charge shifts will be part of the rota.
The working hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am-6pm and 9am-7pm alternate shifts with 1 hour lunch break and 1 half day 8:30am-1pm.
The weekend rota is 1:4 Saturday mornings with no on-call or OOH.

This high quality practice has excellent facilities and prides itself in its customer care and client focus. They have separate facilities for dogs and cats, with the cats having their own ward and theatre upstairs. Downstairs they have lots of kennel space for the dogs aswell as 2 further operating theatres.

Career progression is encouraged and there are opportunities within the group for more senior vet positions as well as clinical director and management roles.
Salary is dependent upon experience with a CPD allowance of between 3-5 days included (dependent on experience) and RCVS fees paid as standard.
