At Bright Leaf Recruitment, we specialise in the recruitment of Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary nurses across the UK, with occasional international vacancies.

As a full time, Recruitment Apprentice (public title will be - locum administrator- � you will be rapidly developed and given all the training required to allow you to look after a small, mainly administrative department of the business. This will however only be the start; the aim of the role is to develop you into a full time permanent recruiter, ie, recruiting permanent staff.
Some of the skills you will develop will be, but not limited to:

* Dealing with clients and candidates over the phone
* Dealing with clients and candidate via email
* Selling skills
* Microsoft Office 2016 365
* Recruitment CRM software
* Recording minutes of meetings
* Developing databases of potential and existing customers
* In depth knowledge of veterinary terms
* Working in a team
* Working independently
* Managing priorities
* Relationship building

Your day to day responsibility will be to advertise temporary vacancies, find suitable candidates and complete the necessary booking information that is required. You will also have to maintain accurate records of work done (by our candidates) by chasing timesheets, future bookings.

Initial qualifications will be gained in Business Administration through Calderdale College. Ongoing qualifications can be gained in Recruitment.

The role will involve lots of public facing written work so GCSE English grade C Language is required. With respect to maths on a daily basis, you will use simple mathematical processes, such as multiplication, division, division and subtraction. Whilst a grade C would be ideal, we can test potential candidates to ensure they can carry out these tasks. Exams are not everything!!!

We are based 10-15 minutes walk form West Vale in a converted Victorian Mill. We work Monday to Friday and enjoy regular pub lunches paid for by the boss...
