They are also keen to speak to vets who want to study a particular discipline, or are keen to pursue leadership position

This is a group of 7 branch practices plus a Tier 2 Accredited RCVS Hospital who are proud of their independence. They are currently a team of 15 vets and invest in their practices according to their clients’ needs and can immediately develop services and facilities in response to local issues, client feedback and advances in veterinary medicine. In addition, having a number of local branches means the team can bring their expertise into communities knowing that their main site is not far away should a pet need hospitalisation, advanced surgery or more extensive diagnostics.

The team sees a varied caseload and a range of surgical procedures. At the hospital they have full facilities including an in-house X-ray machine and ultrasound and carry out advanced surgical and medical work-ups including CT scanning, cardiology, key hole surgery and orthopaedics. This late shift currently falls every 1 in 10 nights and allows you to see some emergency work and grow your skills set in this area. There is also a Saturday rota but no Sundays
They are able to accommodate colleagues who are returning to the industry or maybe need part time to work around other commitments
The role will involve some branch work and some days at the hospital, the team are happy to discuss with individuals which branch site would be best depending on location.

There are no OOH's with this role as Vets Now work from the main Hospital site and take branch inpatients over night if necessary.
