My client in Soth West London present an opportunity that stands apart from many GP veterinary roles in the local area, offering genuine clinical variety, a consistent and loyal caseload, and an environment where professional interests are actively supported rather than limited to routine consults.
This Veterinary Surgeon position combines both consulting and surgical responsibilities within a busy, well-equipped practice known for strong client relationships and excellent continuity of care. The successful candidate will benefit from clinical autonomy, with the freedom to develop their own interests while being supported by an experienced and collaborative team.
The practice is home to a growing team consisting of two experienced vets, a graduate vet, skilled RVNs, and dedicated support staff, creating a positive and well-supported working environment. Unlike many London GP roles that require clinicians to work across multiple sites, this position offers stability and the ability to build meaningful client and patient relationships within one practice.
With a varied caseload and a supportive approach to development, they encourage progression in both medical and surgical disciplines. Certificate study and continued professional growth are fully supported, making this an excellent opportunity for a vet looking to strengthen confidence and expand clinical expertise.
The role offers a four-day working week (with part-time applications considered), a 1 in 6 weekend rota, and access to a modern clinic in a vibrant location. A strong CPD package is included, with funded certificates encouraged, alongside a loyal client base that provides excellent case continuity.
In addition to professional development, the wider benefits package reflects a strong commitment to employee wellbeing and long-term career support. This includes private medical insurance and a health cash plan, wellbeing support services, life assurance, generous annual leave with additional paid time off, a £1,500 CPD allowance with paid CPD leave, funded professional memberships, and relocation or visa sponsorship support where required.
This opportunity is ideally suited to a Veterinary Surgeon seeking more than a standard London GP role — offering the chance to develop clinically, build lasting relationships, and grow within a genuinely supportive practice environment.
