This super practice based in Darlington is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join a talented and supportive team. The practice is located in the attractive market town of Darlington, which benefits from excellent transport links by both rail and road. For domestic and international travel, Teesside International Airport is within easy commuting distance, offering convenient access to UK and European destinations.
This is one of two sister practices in the local area and has been providing consultations and preventative treatments to a loyal client base for many years. The surgery has recently undergone significant renovation, enabling the expansion of services to include outpatient surgical procedures.
The nearby practice is a five-vet site supported by a Head Registered Veterinary Nurse and a strong, clinically led nursing team. It is RCVS accredited, holds ISFM Silver Standard Cat Friendly status, and is fully equipped to accommodate all types of major surgery.
This position is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with flexibility to consider part-time hours from 24 hours per week up to full-time hours of 40 per week. The role includes a 1 in 6 weekend commitment, working from 09:00 to 19:00 at the Thirsk 24-Hour Hospital.
