A rare opportunity has become available for a Veterinary Surgeon to join an award-winning team  on either a full-time or part-time basis. This practice is based around 30 mins north west from the heart of Glasgow, on the river Clyde. Due to continued growth, the practice is ideally seeking an experienced vet, although applications from veterinary surgeons at different stages of their career are welcomed.
Established in 2014, the practice has expanded significantly and is now home to an experienced and supportive team of 11 vets, 6 RVNs, 3 SVNs, 3 VCAs and 4 receptionists. Led by the Practice Owners, the team has developed a strong reputation for its collaborative culture, reflected in its exceptionally low staff turnover and the long-standing relationships between colleagues.
Professional development is a key focus within the practice. Veterinary surgeons are actively encouraged to pursue their clinical interests, with generous CPD and certificate support available. Current team members are working towards certificates in areas including exotics and internal medicine, and the practice is equally supportive of those who wish to develop mentoring responsibilities within the team. A consult-only role can also be considered for the right candidate.
The role is flexible and can be tailored to suit individual circumstances, with part-time hours available from 30 hours per week. Full-time vets take part in a 1.5 in 8 weekend rota, while part-time vets may work up to a 1 in 10 weekend rota. There are no out-of-hours commitments.
Beyond clinical practice, the team places great importance on wellbeing and maintaining a positive working environment. Colleagues regularly take part in social activities outside of work, including running and yoga, contributing to the friendly and inclusive atmosphere.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of up to £65,000 FTE, depending on experience, alongside funded CPD, certificate support, paid professional memberships including RCVS and BVA, and the opportunity to join a stable, forward-thinking team committed to helping its vets thrive both professionally and personally.
