Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join Multi-Site practice in East Sussex

This lovely client, based right on the sea front in East Sussex are looking to recruit enthusiastic Veterinary surgeons to join their friendly team on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic group of five branches serving the Hastings and Bexhill area, providing out-of-hours emergency cover to several other practices in the area.

Recently refurbished, the clinic is equipped with the full range of diagnostic laboratory equipment, digital x-ray, Doppler ultrasound, endoscopy, and excellent facilities.

East Sussex is an area steeped in history, with beautiful countryside, stunning coastlines, and an abundance of choice within the art, sports, and leisure scenes. You also have the convenience of great links to Brighton, London, and Gatwick.

Across the whole group they have approximately 12 Vets, with a total team of 40-45 across the group, this includes both Registered and Trainee Nurses, Receptionists and Support staff.  They also have a visiting specialist in ophthalmology.

The team would welcome vets with a range of experience, including those with interests in orthopaedics, exotics, ultrasonography and emergency care. You must be someone with a passion for providing the highest level of veterinary care, whilst always striving to achieve excellent client service through clear and effective communication with a compassionate approach.

The ideal candidate will be personable, enthusiastic and energetic Vet, eager for the challenges of a bustling practice with an emphasis on achieving gold standard care and providing excellent client service. Excellent communication skills, the ability to work well within a team and a strong work ethic is essential.

The full-time position is a 4-day week with a 1 in 4 working weekend schedule built in. Part time applications will also be considered. They have their own dedicated night team, so there's no requirement for out of hours cover. 

The salary for this position is up to £68k pa DOE, with an additional welcome bonus of £2k and a relocation package up to £5k and additional benefits pro rata.
