A well-established small animal practice in Surrey is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join its experienced team on a permanent, full-time basis.
This practice provides a broad range of first-opinion and advanced veterinary services, including orthopaedics, CT and advanced ultrasound imaging, laparoscopic neutering and soft tissue surgery. Working alongside a skilled nursing team, you will have access to modern facilities designed to deliver high standards of patient care. The practice is equipped with digital and dental radiography, a fully equipped in-house laboratory, microscopy and orthopaedic equipment, while the recently refurbished reception and consultation areas provide a welcoming environment for both clients and patients. Supported by a 24-hour hospital and branches close by, this role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative environment where veterinary surgeons and nurses share knowledge, manage a varied caseload and support one another's professional development.
Located within a vibrant parade of shops and cafés, the practice is just a five-minute walk from the railway station, offering direct services to London Victoria. The surrounding area also boasts excellent green spaces, including Epsom Racecourse, Epsom Common and Ashtead Park, providing an attractive setting for work-life balance.
Benefits include private medical insurance, 24/7 wellbeing and counselling support, Annual leave starts at five weeks plus bank holidays. Development is strongly encouraged through a £1,500 annual CPD allowance, three days of paid CPD leave. Funded certificates and structured career progression pathways are also available. Professional memberships, including RCVS, VDS and BVA fees, are fully funded, while additional benefits include relocation support and visa sponsorship
