Are you a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon seeking your next exciting challenge? My client is opening the doors to our brand-new, purpose-built practice in the borough of Barnet in July 2025—and we’d love you to be part of it.
The practice is the brainchild of the partner vet and certificate holder who has a passion for cat-friendly care, soft tissue surgery, and Brachycephalic airway syndrome and are committed to building a collaborative, compassionate, and forward-thinking team.
The brand-new surgery—opening Summer 2025—is designed with both clinical excellence and team wellbeing in mind. The practice will feature:
• Digital and dental x-ray equipment
• Dedicated theatre
• Separate cat, dog, and isolation wards
• Spacious colleague room for rest and connection
You’ll have the opportunity to grow in a supportive environment that encourages continuous development, with ample CPD and certificate support.

Practice Hours & Flexibility
They plan to open Monday to Saturday, with weekday hours from 9am to 7pm and Saturdays from 9am to 6pm (on a 1:2 rota). As a new practice, they can offer flexible working patterns, whether full-time or part-time, to support your ideal work/life balance. No out-of-hours required.
What they’re Looking For
• RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
• Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience
• Confident in consults and surgery (consult-only roles also considered)
• Interest in scanning welcomed; certificate aspirations fully supported
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Committed to delivering exceptional patient care
Thy can offer
• Salary up to £60,000 (depending on experience and FTE)
• Generous CPD allowance + certificate funding
• 5.6 weeks holiday, rising to 6.6 weeks after 2 years
