Small Animal Vet Vacancy, North East. Senior role

Our client’s small animal practice located in County Durham, is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon, to join their busy small team supported by receptionists and loyal owners committed to obtaining the best care for their pets. Commutable to Hartlepool’ s and Middlesbrough’s beautiful towns. The practice has a varied and busy caseload, with domestic pets to wildlife from the local beaches.
The ideal candidate will be someone who is experienced and is maybe looking to step into a senior role and take charge on the days the partner is not on site. This will involve mentoring younger team members and they would be happy to support a particular discipline in caseload. The partner has a surgical bias and the practice sees a significant amount of surgery cases but they would love to develop other areas of the business too
Full time with Saturday mornings on a 1 in 3 rota. There will be some sole charge included for an experienced surgeon with No OOH requirement. However this practice can be flexible when it come to hours and days to work around your commitments

It is essential that you need to have the same values and high standards as the current team and be able to carry out consults in addition to the routine booster consults. The client also offers potential for those specific interest, with support for Certificates and generous CPD
