Our client’s practice is home to a group of friendly and welcoming professionals based in one of the most beautiful parts of the country, East Dorset and the Isle of Purbeck. They are now looking for an experienced vet to join the team.
The clinic and team have a long proud history of providing excellent veterinary care to the local community since 1849. The first practice was established in Wimborne and since then they have expanded into the local area with 5 further practices. In 2004 they moved from being a mixed practice to concentrate on pets, since then they have developed a reputation for their high standards of care and personal service.
Dorset is a classically beautiful and scenic place to live. From the breathtaking countryside to the rolling coastal cliffs, it is a place of contrast and natural beauty. There are miles of coastline to spend your days exploring including sandy beaches, imposing cliffs and if you are interested in water sports our harbours offer a huge variety of opportunities from yachting to open water swimming. There’s something for everyone in Dorset. Away from the beaches there’s an impressive chalk down hills, lush river valleys and the woods of the precious New Forest on the doorstep. The rural skies are some of the darkest in England, great for stargazing and camping. Bournemouth itself is a coastal resort town attracting over five million visitors annually with its beaches and popular nightlife. With great links to motorways, public transport and its own airport it is easily accessible by air, ferry, car, coach or train (97 mins from London).
The team work closely together with a collaborative approach to all cases. They believe in promoting healthy and positive relationships between humans and animals in all aspects of their work, including with pet owners, charities, working dogs, and through animal welfare cases. The teams shared aim is to provide the most appropriate veterinary care to their customers’ beloved pets, through working with them to understand their needs. They are a friendly, forward-thinking, and supportive team of vets, nurses, and support team, and while they are proud of their diligence and integrity, they love life outside of work too.
