This partnership of two practices in the city of Leicester offers a perfect opportunity for a small animal vet who is comfortable with the basics, but desires to achieve more and progress their skills in a supportive environment. The clinics themselves are both very well equipped with full IDEXX labs, ultrasounds, dental suites, visiting CT scanner and the facilities to perform regular orthopedic procedures, and hydrotherapy and physio planned in the future
The team consists of a team of seven vets across both sites, with the role based at one of the locations, and involving a weekend rota of 1:3, but with NO OOH's, this role delivers on work life balance.
The right person will be confident with basic skills and be keen to carry out soft tissue surgery. An interest that you would like to explore would also be desirable, but not essential, and you would join a team with interests such as Diagnostic imaging, Ophthalmology and orthopedics
