Up to £65,000 DOE plus up to £1,000 Welcome Bonus and up to £3,000 Relocation Allowance
Our client is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to replace their vet who is moving to a more senior role.
This first opinion 4.5 vet practice, with nurse training and a dedicated reception team. The Clinical Directors value the team and their life outside of work, so they aim to run the diary to ensure shifts finish on time with adequate admin time. They have an open-door policy and aim to actively listen to the team about ideas for improving clinical standards, client and patient care and team education. As a practice, the team strives to help clients and patients whatever their budget, giving options and actively engaging with clients about what is best for the pet. They support the team to develop and can do this in-house, via externships at other larger practices in the group and tailored CPD. They have an external surgeon and ultra-sonographer to support them with more complex cases. The practice hosts a wide range of equipment such as X-ray, Ultrasound, Dental X-ray machine and an in-house biochemistry machine. The clinic is easily accessible with excellent transport links into Central London and plenty of shops nearby.
The clinic can tailor the role to suit you, whether you are consult, surgery or medically focused and they can help ensure a case variety that works for you. Two vets have completed medical certificates with them and they have a small exotics caseload which could easily be expanded if that is your area of interest. They are keen to welcome someone who wants to help raise clinical standards by helping the Clinical Directors run clinical audits, significant event audits and clinical clubs.
This role is for someone to work 30-40 hours over 3-5 days. 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:15-14:15. No OHH or Sundays. They know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career and they want to make it easy for you to strike the right balance.
