Our wonderful client in Somerset are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their large small animal First Opinion practice in the beautiful Somerset countryside. The Jurassic coastline is within easy reach with good transport links via motorway and rail.

This four branch practice is fully equipped with video endoscopy, tonometry, digital dental X-rays, and ultrasound scanners. Inhouse the team is made up of 10 experienced Vets, including 2 Clinical Directors and certificate holders in ophthalmology and surgery. Plus advanced orthopaedic surgery is available to clients via a visiting specialist. This team of vets is supporting by a fantastic team of 16 RVN’s, 3 SVN’s and an ACA.

This is a full time role, working a 4 day week, with no night duties and weekends on a rota basis.

The ideal candidate will be a pro-active and dedicated veterinary surgeon. Experience is preferred but all candidates will be considered, including motivated recent graduates.  Applicants must be RCVS registered. The team encourage further development and can fund CPD including study for higher qualifications.

On offer is a salary up to £65,000 (depending on experience) and accommodation is available if required.
