Our client has a large group with a large and varied client base of small animal, farm, and equine clients in both Somerset and Dorset.
Over the years, the practice has expanded with a small animal surgery in Yeovil and an equine branch located nearby. The team have always strived for the highest in client and animal care, and the resources available to the practice help them to achieve this. There are 10 Veterinary Surgeons, as this is a mixed practice, working between large and small animal caseloads. They have 7 registered veterinary nurses, 1 Trainee nurse and a support team of 13. Across the sites, there are 2 certificate holders, and they specialise in Laparoscopic spays. They hold regular events for team-building purposes and support local charities, events and shows, and they hold regular meetings for the farming community.
They are looking for a dedicated individual to join the team as Clinical Director. The successful person will oversee the smooth running of the Small Animal Department across two sites. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who would like to take the next step in their career and manage the clinical team of Vets and Nurses. This is a full-time position, working 40 hours across 4.5 days per week, with no out-of-hours and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings.
Salary is up to £80k pa DOE, plus a welcome bonus of up to £5 and a relocation allowance of up to £5k if required.
