This independent veterinary practice is seeking a caring and compassionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join its friendly team. The successful candidate will be an experienced and empathetic individual with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to provide high-quality patient care.
The role will involve supporting the veterinary team with all aspects of clinical nursing, including monitoring anaesthesia, assisting during surgical procedures, and providing dedicated post-operative and inpatient care. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, comfortable using IT systems, and able to contribute to the smooth running of the practice through a combination of nursing, administrative, and reception responsibilities.
RCVS registration is required for this position.
This is a full-time opportunity, offering a competitive salary based on experience, with the potential to increase earnings through optional overtime. The successful candidate will work alongside two experienced veterinary surgeons in a well-equipped practice featuring modern facilities, including digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, physiotherapy equipment, and other advanced clinical resources.
The preferred working pattern is 37–40 hours per week, with shifts typically running from 9am to 6pm. The role also includes Saturday morning cover on a 1:4 or 1:5 rota basis.
