Key Responsibilities: As a Registered Veterinary Nurse in the surgical referral team, this dynamic role encompasses a wide array of responsibilities, including theatre work, anaesthesia, X-ray/CT imaging, assisting surgery e.g., hip replacement, nurse consultations, inpatient care, emergency response, and critical care nursing.
The Environment: This exciting opportunity is based in a well-equipped, modern Referral Hospital with state-of-the-art facilities. The hospital features an in-house laboratory with a dedicated lab technician, CT, MRI, and a dedicated surgical service to support the medical department. There are ample opportunities for career progression, including becoming a Clinical Coach. They offer a generous CPD budget, an in-house progression plan, and support with post-graduate studies.
The team includes advanced practitioners and certificate holders, and they accept referrals from across the Midlands and beyond. They work closely to ensure patients receive the highest level of care, and the hospital boasts an interesting and busy caseload.
