My client is looking for an RVN for a brand-new, state-of-the-art 24/7 Veterinary Hospital in Stockton-on-Tees, offering an exciting opportunity for veterinary professionals who are passionate about providing affordable, accessible care while working with a diverse and rewarding caseload. The hospital has been designed to enable clinicians to fully utilise and develop their skills in a modern, well-equipped environment.
The new facility includes nine spacious consulting rooms, three fully equipped operating theatres, a dedicated diagnostic suite with digital radiography, a dental suite, isolation facilities, and separate cat and dog wards to support low-stress patient care. A central preparation area enhances clinical efficiency, while the hospital's comprehensive service offering encompasses first-opinion, referral, and out-of-hours veterinary care for pets across the local community.
They operate differently from many veterinary providers. Rather than focusing solely on profit, the organisation is committed to its mission of ensuring that no pet goes untreated or is euthanised when a viable treatment option exists. Through free consultations and transparent pricing, they work to make quality veterinary care more accessible to all.
The role offers a salary of up to £32,000, dependent on experience, and operates on a rota of 40 hours across four days per week, with participation in a 2-in-9 weekend rota and time off in lieu provided.
Employees benefit from six weeks of annual leave including bank holidays, funded CPD, paid RCVS and VDS fees, a contributory pension scheme, enhanced maternity and paternity provisions, and access to an Employee Assistance Programme. Following the qualifying period, colleagues also receive up to 52 weeks of sickness benefit and access to confidential counselling services covering mental health, financial wellbeing, and life support.
