An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the welcoming and supportive team at close to Finchley This role is ideal for a nurse looking to take the next step in their career within a well-established practice that values professional development, teamwork, and exceptional patient care.
Situated on the doorstep of Hampstead Heath, the practice offers a charming and friendly working environment. Recently renovated, it features a modern consultation room and a well-equipped hospital and preparation area, including digital radiography facilities, a spacious prep room, dedicated dental suite, closed operating theatre, and separate dog and cat wards. The location also benefits from excellent underground and overground transport links.
The position is based on a four-day working week, totalling 40 hours, with occasional shifts at the nearby Hendon Hospital. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high standards of clinical care, undertaking nurse-led appointments, supporting veterinary surgeons during procedures, and ensuring an outstanding experience for patients, clients, and colleagues alike.
Working as part of a close-knit team, the Registered Veterinary Nurse will be responsible for a varied caseload, including patient admissions and discharges, monitoring and inpatient care, Schedule 3 procedures, and supporting consultations, surgeries, and diagnostic procedures. Collaboration and excellent communication are central to the role, with a shared commitment to delivering the highest standards of care.

The ideal candidate will be an RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse with a passion for delivering exceptional patient and client care. They will be a proactive team player who enjoys making a positive difference within a supportive practice environment and is committed to continuous professional development.
In return, the successful candidate will benefit from a comprehensive package designed to support both their professional growth and personal wellbeing.
