I’m excited to advertise a position for my independent client, who pride themselves on having an amazing reputation, they deliver a high standard of veterinary care, with a particular emphasis on early diagnosis by working up cases in-house at an early stage.
Based in South Yorkshire they are close to the cities of Sheffield and Leeds and into the beautiful countryside in minutes, the peak district national park is on your doorstep
They are a Well-equipped practice with ultrasound, X-ray, dental X-ray, full in-house lab (IDEXX ProCyte One, Catalyst and Sedivue), Tonovet Plus, slit lamp, PRP and mesenchymal stem cell kits, etc and are seeking a vet who shares their ethos and values
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week on average) in their 2-year old, privately owned practice, and work on the following basis:
they work with 15-minute consults as standard, have a balanced surgical rota
Full-time can be either a 4/5-day week (rota subject to discussion, opening hours 8:30 - 18:00 on weekdays) with 1 in 2 Saturdays (8:30-12:00) – No on call / OOH or Bank holidays
28 days holidays per annum + Bank holidays off
NEST pension with employer contribution (from the first day of employment)
Fully funded 3 days annual CPD uncapped on budget and three days paid CPD attendance time
Fully funded Certificate of your choice (as long as it is relevant to our work in practice)
Paid RCVS & VDS fees
Paid full BSAVA membership
The starting salary we offer for the role is £44k, and you would need to be able to work autonomously (sole charge occasionally) the salary is dependent on experience and you would join a team with a Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care, an RCVS Advanced Practitioners in ECC, and currently working towards a Postgraduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery.
