My client in St Albans is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join its well-established practice in a permanent part-time position. This opportunity is ideal for someone looking for consistency, professional autonomy, while enjoying a varied and rewarding caseload.
Situated on a busy high street in the heart of St Albans, the practice has built a loyal client base and strong community presence. The successful candidate will take on a sole-charge role with an existing caseload, allowing them to make an immediate impact while providing continuity of care and building lasting relationships with clients and their pets.
The role offers a diverse mix of medical and surgical cases, alongside the independence of leading the branch day-to-day.
The position is based on a 21-hour working week, including participation in a one-in-three Saturday rota. There is also a pro-rata contribution to the bank holiday and on-call rota.
Located in one of Hertfordshire’s most desirable cities, St Albans combines historic charm with a vibrant high street, excellent amenities, and convenient transport links to London and the surrounding areas.
Professional development is encouraged through a £1,500 annual CPD allowance, three days of paid CPD leave, access to clinical communities and internal learning opportunities, as well as support for funded certificates and career progression pathways.
