Part-Time Veterinary Surgeon – Colchester
My lovely client is seeking a confident Veterinary Surgeon to join its friendly and experienced team in a permanent part-time position. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality first opinion work
The successful candidate will have the freedom to manage their own caseload, including some sole-charge responsibilities, within a well-equipped practice that benefits from a loyal and established client base. Facilities include digital radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy, enabling a varied caseload and supporting the delivery of excellent clinical standards. The practice actively encourages professional growth and welcomes candidates looking to further develop skills in their areas of interest.
Located in the historic city of Colchester, the practice offers access to a vibrant cultural scene while being within easy reach of the Essex coastline and surrounding countryside, providing an excellent balance between city and outdoor living.
Applicants should have at least one year of experience and be confident in first opinion small animal consultations and routine surgical procedures. The position is ideally suited to a three-day working week, although flexibility can be considered for the right candidate.
