Night Veterinary Surgeon – 24-Hour Hospital
This client, situated in the London Borough of Sutton is a large, well-established 24-hour hospital providing continuous, high-quality care to patients around the clock. The hospital benefits from a strong daytime team of five experienced veterinary surgeons, ensuring excellent clinical support and continuity of care throughout the day.
Out-of-hours services are delivered by three dedicated night teams, creating a structured and focused approach to emergency and critical care cases. This opportunity would suit a Veterinary Surgeon with ECC experience who is passionate about delivering exceptional clinical standards and client care. The successful candidate will work as a sole-charge ECC clinician, supported by a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse, managing a varied and rewarding caseload. Responsibilities will include providing emergency and critical care consultations, performing surgical procedures when required, developing tailored treatment plans, and working in line with the highest clinical, regulatory, and operational standards.
The position follows an attractive rota pattern of one week on and two weeks off, offering significant time away from work while maintaining continuity within the hospital team.
