Lovely independent team, require PT small animal vet. Flexible hours, County Durham

An exciting opportunity has become available for a part-time Veterinary Surgeon to join the team at this East Coat practice, close to Marske, Recar and Saltburn. The role offers a flexible working pattern of two days per week, consisting of one day working sole charge and one day alongside the full-time Veterinary Surgeon, with the option to increase to three days per week for the right candidate.
The position is based on weekday hours only, from 8.30am to 6.30pm, with NO WEEKEND commitments. The successful candidate will benefit from a supportive working environment, with RCVS and VDS fees covered, a generous CPD allowance, and additional CPD days provided.
This role would be ideal for a Veterinary Surgeon looking to develop strong client relationships, build continuity of care, and become an integral part of a close-knit team. The practice has a growing client base and provides an excellent opportunity for a vet who values a friendly, collaborative approach.
The newly renovated, seven-month-old practice building is fully equipped with modern facilities and is supported by an experienced and dedicated team. The team includes a full-time Veterinary Surgeon, two Registered Veterinary Nurses, two support staff members, and two practice managers, all working together to provide a high standard of patient care and client service.
The practice benefits from a comprehensive range of equipment, including digital and dental radiography, colour ultrasound, endoscopy, ECG, diathermy, and routine laparoscopic spays. There is also a commitment to supporting professional development, with training available for vets who wish to expand their skills in areas such as laparoscopic procedures.
