For those who have started a certificate and are tied into a training agreement, our client is happy to take those costs on. For vets about to start a certificate, they are happy to fund studies.
The outgoing Lead Vet is staying on in the practice for a few months to help with the transition of the new Lead Vet. He has a wealth of clinical and managerial experience and will be an excellent mentor.
This is a three vet team with a small team of nurses and they are well equipped. Equipment includes:
- Cardiac ultrasound,
- Dental x-rays,
- a K-laser,
- an aseptic theatre and prep room,
- endoscopes
- and full in-house lab for bloods, biochemistry and urine,
- separate dog kennels, cattery and exotic ward.
The role is primarily involved around ensuring the very best clinical care is offered by the whole team. Ensuring that the team continue with their learning and development and ensuring there is a harmonious working environment.
With regards to the Lead Vet area that may be new to candidates, full support will be offered.
