Our Staffordshire based client require an ambitious veterinary surgeon, comfortable with most routine surgical and medical cases to join their team as Lead Vet.
The practice has a very established, loyal client base with a high proportion of insured clients. They are well equipped to deliver a great first opinion service with 3 consult rooms, separate prep and ops theaters, digital x-ray and ultrasound, full lab facilities and separate cat and dog wards.
The successful candidate will work a 4 day average 39 hour week which include s 1:6 full weekends. There are no OOH's
The salary will be industry leading and will include 5 weeks holiday, generous CPD, VDS paid, RCVS paid plus 3 days off for study. A company car can also be offered.
As well as being comfortable to make sound clinical judgments, you will also be able to motivate a small team of veterinary surgeons and nurses. It is likely that this will be the first "senior role" candidates will have held, so support in all aspects of management will be offered.
